Put simply, the pipeline dried up. The JV team went like 15-5 or something this year, but going down the rankings Eagan doesn't look to be relevant for many years now. (I think a pewee A team was top 10 maybe) The South metro pipeline dried up a bit this year, but will be even more dry next year as...

So Tonka looses to Moorhead, STA (x2) one game was 9-3, Wayzata, PL and Hopkins. These are all teams that HF beat this year. Plus HF beat them head to head. Since January 22 they are 1-6-1. They also lost to 7th seed AC. So naturally Tonka gets a 2 seed and HF a 5 seed. With a number like that, why...

Does LVN also have an advantage in rink? I mean home rink, which is a bigger sheet of olympic size rink. Both their girl and boys teams are great undoubtfully with very good top end players. Not saying they play on their home rink all the times, actually when they are on the road they don't for the...

Kevin Fellows is a solid player at high school level. Indeed he was very good at peewee and bantam, he is no doubt one of elite sophomore players at high school level.
He is just a very good around athlete, my kid played baseball against him for quite a few years, and play summer hockey with him too.

Wildcats will be fortunate to avoid a play in game with the 7 seed. With a win over Rosemount maybe they climb to 6 but a 5 seed ain't happening. A Rosemount win should give them the 3 seed IMO over EV. If EV losses to Lvn then beats AV; Rosemount beats Eagan and losses to PL, EV should be ...

In some areas the recession led to adults being happy to pick up extra games for some extra money - seemed like a lot of squirt (10U) and peewee (12U) games with 2 adults on the ice. This squeezed out opportunities for younger kids to learn and grow. 5 or 6 years later, there are fewer high school ...

It seems to be a lot of hit-and-miss's wh...

From our D2 rep. It's a fact. Interesting ... wouldn't D2 rep need to get a nod from D8 and D10 to make this a fact? Not seeing anything out from D8 or D10. It would involve scheduling and home/away for the host districts, and would not think teams from south of Farmington are anxious to play an aw...
