Re: section 8A??
Thief River is going to dominate. They have one of the best if the best players in the state and guys that are almost as good.

Re: 8A
How can you say that? They havent done anything yet. Warroad hasnt played a game and they dont have a chance.

MARK MY WORDS WARROAD WILL BE PLAYING AT THE X IN MARCH.
Play another sport if ya dont got what it takes to DangleMcFangle.

Re: 8A
i would have to say that even though warroad has not played yet they are going to be a great team from looking at the players they have. TRF is going to also be a great team and i think that thhey are both goiong be fighting for the sectioin champ and i would say that warroad is going to come and up set to win and go to state.

Re: 8A
It would be nice to see TRF back in the State Tourney and beating Warroad to get there will make it all that much more sweeter! However, what is Warroad doing playing in Class A? I realize that they are a small school but they are clearly one of Minnesota's top notch programs on any level...

Re: 8A
Let's let that subject die now. As I believe the same should be said about TRF and EGF right off the bat. Let's add DL and Alex and Fergus and I Falls and and and and and and and. Get the picture. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

section 8 champs
You guys are right the two teams in the finals this year will be Warroad and TRF but i think that TRF will take it this year just look at their team

Re: section 8 champs
I think everyone needs to keep an eye on DL and EGF the way they have come out of the chute.

And we all believe Warroad will be good, but have they played yet?

Friday and Saturday are the first games down in the TC area if I remember the schedule right.

Monday we can be a "little" more objective.

Re: section 8 champs
TRF is the favorite to win this year but don't count out Warroad, EGF, or LOW yet. Don't expect Crookston to just roll over either. My prediction is TRF gets disappointed in the section championship. By who? We'll see.

Re: section 8 champs
It is to early in the year to say that TRF and Waroad are shoe in's for the championship. There are 3 other teams that show real promise for the early season in EGF,DL and LOW. Any one of these 5 teams could win this section and who ever does will win state. Good Luck!

Re: section 8 champs
EGF is undefeated, but who have they played?

Re: section 8A??
I believe they have beaten Grand forks central,Farmington,Bemidje and Minot. All for of those teams are decent with Bemidje being the weekest.

it should pretty much be a toss up besides RLF PR hallock and the rest of the teams that are pretty shaky

Re: section 8a
is Detroit Lakes really supposed to be that good this year? Honestly I think i'd be pissed if i was DL and got switched to 8A from their prominance in 4A
