Who do you think are the underrated teams in the state? I think Anoka is well underrated. There not as bad as I excpected them to be. What are your opinions? <p></p><i></i>

if your talking about St. Thomas Academy they are not underrated. They are a highly respected team around the state from the past couple years. They are impressing more and more each day. Not an underrated team. <p></p><i></i>

The real problem with Faribault was that they just couldn't put the puck in the net. They had more than enough opportunities, just look at the shots. <p></p><i></i>

The real problem with faribault is that the lipinski line isint that good and niether is their team. <p></p><i></i>

WADENA is far underrated. They will do well in state this year! <p></p><i></i>

Lipinski's line had 15 of the 26 goals their team had scored in the 3 games coming into the East game.<br>That includes a comfortable 5-2 win over a much improved Northfield team that several people, including coaches, have picked as high as 4th in 3A and in their<br>conference. Northfield was 12-12-0 last year. They beat<br>Shakopee (state entrant) late in the 05 season and lost<br>5-3 in the playoffs to STA (state entrant). They return<br>7 of top 9 forwards, 3 top defensemen, and both goalies.<br>Not exactly a pushover for Faribault.Faribault missed some good scoring chances in the East game, but so did<br>East.Most of Faribault's shot advantage came in the 3rd<br>period (14-2) when East was on the penalty kill for most<br>of the time.It's too early to tell whether East or Faribault are any good, but I wouldn't dismiss either one yet, they<br>both have alot of their top players back.Faribault also has a new freshman D that might be one of the top 9th<br>graders in southern Mn., maybe the state. <p></p><i></i>

Virginia has a lot of offensive firepower...should be a section 7A contender. <p></p><i></i>

I can see why faribault scored so many goals. look at the teams that showed up at there tournament. the weakest line up in years. <p></p><i></i>

that's why I highlighted the Northfield win and not the other 2 games!I only mentioned the total goals to show <br>that the Lipinski line is a big part of their offense. <p></p><i></i>

How is Totino-Grace and Roseau overrated? Have you seen them play. Roseau beat Blaine 4-1 and then Totino-grace came and beat Roseau 4-1. I would say warroad is more overrated. They have nothing. Red wing is getting all the respect they deserve. <p></p><i></i>

Yea- I could be all wrong about NF. They could be worse than last year. But they were .500 last season and have<br>most of their team back. Any particular reason you're down on them? <p></p><i></i>
