what is with everyone dissing the brainerd fans. these people are the most loyal fans brainerd has had in a long time. in 2 years there hasnt been a team in the CLC or in the section that has matched the intensity of the brainerd student section. expect brainerd to run away with the CLC and the section all winter long. GR WATCH OUT

Cheering for your team is one thing. Swearing at cheerleaders, injured players and the opposing team in general just isn't cool. Cloquet, Rapids, and Forest Lake fans don't do that stuff. I can't say the same thing for Brainerd and East fans. That's not to say each individual for those schools are bad fans. Warrior Super Fan, just set a good example in sportsmanship for the other Warrior fans. The whistle at the IRA last year I don't get. It annoys both teams and fans of both teams. It's just dumb.

just another dumb statement from the little big town, talk is big but when it all comes down to the section play brainerd has not been ready to play a game sense.......... never! I would not be so worried about GR when forest lake just beat you. or maybe you'll get another finland player and maybe then you could win the sections. signed never been a big fan of brainerd hockey

the brainerd fans for hockey are just as worthless as the town itself. First of all the only thing they have to cheer about is some kid from finland, sad they need an exchange student to win games. Also sad that with him they still wont get through their section. Maybe a second round loss sounds good, and as for the clc, not something to be too proud of winning the clc, cause come the end of the year who really cares if you win the conference if you dont go anywhere in the playoffs.

There goes Bader trolling again - ya got to love it though. I have only been witness to one game involving Braindead, and experienced nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to athletic competitions. After all, what do they really have to be cocky about - an 0 for ever record in the Section/State tournament. Mark this as another year in Brainerd hockey where the mighty Warriors do nothing to further the program, at least as far as winning anything meaningful. It seems to me, one of their best players, who now claims to be a warrior 4 life, couldn't make the Flyer squad. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> And there is nothing that Below 0, kranky, bluesbuddy, and even the mighty SlapShooter can do about it!

I've watched alot of Brainerd hockey from the opponents perspective and I can't say I've ever seen anything from their fans that would be consisered poor sportmanship. I'm sure like every student body they have a couple of knuckleheads who get out of line now and then. Overall their fans are no different than anybody else's. As far as warrior for life goes he's a good kid and LF would have been lucky to have him.

There goes Bader again, trying to bait the members of this fine forum. Well, I'll bite. Tell me again what Brainerd has ever accomplished in the hallowed tradition of high school hockey? Oh yeah, they have been the doormat of Section 7 for a number of years, but what else? Before you go cutting down a fine program like Flyer hockey, maybe you could have some tradition and some hardware to back to you up. If not, forgive the rest of the posters in this fine forum for having a little fun at your expense when you shoot your yaps about how great a program and community you have. And Jiggs, stick to giving advice to Pender - maybe he could stand a little fatherly advice about how hockey is not won by how hard you hit somebody or how many checks you get.

I don't recall seeing small falls winning state either. I don't think trophies are the only thing that makes a program successful. If you go back and look at past state champs most were more successful recruiting top players than anything else.

Hey "boozebuddy" and "ohfor32" - the thread was supposed to be about Brainerd fans, not if Brainerd is better than the LF Flyers. If you wish to make comparisons, we are all waiting to hear about your past exploits in Section 8 and 7 and how much damage your team has done there. I guess it goes to show that maybe maybe the originator of this thread was correct - you clowns are a bunch of blowhards that are all talk and no action. We will see if this team can live up to the billing you blowhards have created for it - good luck, we will all be watching come sectionals.
