I think we should all be happy that they are doing games at all.............if this project goes well, which I'm betting it will, the future scheduling of games will no doubt include all of the "no brainers". At least the ones that don't interfere with Gopher hockey, Gopher basketball (men and women), Wild hockey and the Timberwolves.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... 5hockey at: 12/15/05 8:51 am

Well said I35. The games are representing the whole state (North, South, East, West, Public Private, A, AA). I'm not going to complain one bit.

Yeah I will second that. With all due respect how can anyone find a way to complain that high school hockey games are going to be televised? I don't think we should be taking this for granted, and realize there are some great games being televised so enjoy!

I wouldn't say these are complaints, just recommendations.

I agree, this is great for hockey fans, and it is hopefully just the start of bigger and better things to come. There are probably 20+ other games worth televising, but as stated earlier, FSN has to work around their contracts with the Goph's, Wild, & Timberwolves. I'm sure they looked long and hard at the schedules and did what they thought would be best to try and make this a success. They don't want this experiment to fail anymore than any of us do.

I think that they should do a doubleheader of the section 5AA and the section 6AA from Mariucci. Always a classic no matter who is playing.....
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

there is no question that the annual meeting between the elks of elk river and the tornadoes of anoka should be televised it is one of the greatest rivalries in all of high schoool hockey. the fans are great and it is always a great game to see

I think that it'd be sweet if they televised section finals. Get the really roudy fans in rinks that there is standing room only.
