I take it your saying they have a good core of D-men, but lack forwards?

Bordson

Post by pukstopshereML »

I was surprised when I saw Bordson was leaving Denfeld, they were very good last year and it was only goaltending that hurt them. Offensively they could compete with Marshall in my opinion. With nearly everyone returning Denfeld was going to be my pick for the section but without Bordson they are 3 or 4 at best. This certainly helps Marshall stay on top of the preseason polls. I don't see anyone beating them.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... shereML at: 10/21/05 10:02 am

this section is down from the last two years.....about that schmitt kid, i wouldn't expect anything special, he'll be good don't get me wrong, but he won't make enough impact, if any, to push scc over the top.

as for bordson leaving denfeld all i can say is...OUCH

my prediction is back to the old two and out 2a. well, maybe not if marshall wins the section.

BLUELINE, those are the returning from last year. Obviously you havnt looked at their up and coming forwards from the bantam program, and also pretty good forwards from jv. Trust me they have plenty

like one of my old coaches said, when you're relying on kids right out of bantams, you're hurting.

2a-
who is this coach you speak of. if i recall correctly, a few years back a certain team relied on 3 bantams and a pee wee for a lot.

Brent Boerger was the coach...once those Bantams and that PeeWee had a year of experience was when those players were relied on.

This is why we'll have another 2A thread starting soon. You SCC boys just talk and talk and talk. You may want to wait a bit before blowing your mouths off. 2A Old Timer knows of which he speaks, so you young juniors need to take heed. what i am is a genius, scotty...i am in moorhead now, and i'll only be able to watch from afar. Dare i dip in to the realms of section 8?

But he's right, its far to early to make predictions. It is truly impossible for people to make predictions right now. We don't know who worked hard in the offseason, we don't know of any potential injuries to star players. people from all over the section enjoy my opinions. Before the section final last year, some Duluth Marshall parents told me how much they enjoyed what i had to say. I'm sure I'll have plenty of comments to make for ya, don't worry too much about it.
