STA wins 3-1. Fillippi blows up tonight and schoder gets the hat. Hill doesnt stand a chance in this one.

Good young, goaltending both sides. STA's speed will get them this one.

If HM has all it's players (uncertain on Hoeffel) I can't see STA beating them. They have never beat the Pioneers and this years HM squad seem pretty solid. I'll say 4-2 Hill in a workman like effort.

Might be a 1 goal game, but if White Bear couldn't beat Hill, what makes everyone think STA can? Don't be stupid people.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... lhockey at: 12/15/05 11:32 am

Rumor had it that Hoeffel injured a hamstring (not sure if he played against SSP) and might not be available for tonight's game. Would be nice to get this info correct.

When they met last year, STA lost at HM and home, by 2 and by 1, respectively. Both games were very close, and STA is much better this year. It'll be a good game.

If Hill plays with any of the physical game that they were forced to against WBL, this game won't be close. As long as McCallem is out there against Schoeder's line all night STA will be shut down just like WBL's line of Grun, Roth, and Kovacs. That line is much better than the top line of STA, and i'm doubting that lil Flip blows up tonite.

Hill 6
STA 1

Hill Murray 5 STA 2

Hill has too many guns for the Cadets. STA's goalie will be tested again. Also, their D is OK but not great. STA has some depth at forward and can score but the majority of the game will be played in their zone.

STA people think that they can beat everyone, i bet if they played AHA they would say, "i pick sta by 2 because AHA has nothing on STA's speed"
*WILD HOCKEY FAN FOREVER*

Thursday Game

Post by brickwall33 » Thu Dec 15, 2005 4:34 pm

The Pioneers need to come out during this game and set the tone for the Classic Suburban this year. Many people predicted Hill-Murray to win this conference and St. Thomas to be second. Hill needs to come out and send a statement that this conference is theirs and I think that they will do this. They are not going to let St. Thomas feel that they even have the slightest chance to win. This is the attitude that I feel the Pioneers will come out with. They are eager to keep proving that they are the real deal this year. Tonight's game will set the tone for the CSC.

Whoever said that STA fans think they'd have a chance of beating AHA is a moron. News for ya, HM is no where near AHA. AHA would trample over STA. HM on the other hand is beatable for STA. HM would probably beat them in 7 of 10 games, but with the home ice and both teams knowing they need to win this to get the conference, STA needing it more because if they lose there's no way they'll beat HM in Aldrich, it should be a good game. Test two young goalies.

i disagree 100% with ur last post. HM and AHA are number 1 and 2 in the state respectivly and HM beat AHA in a scrimmage, so how could STA not play with AHA or even beat them. Your post is not legit

ps it will be nice to see HM beat AHA later in the season

Okay, re-read buddy. I didn't say anything about STA beating AHA, I actually said if they played STA would get crushed. Also, scrimmages aren't the same as an actual season game. I'm not predicting a win, actually saying that HM has a better chance of winning, but that they have a chance of winning.
