Never mind. It isn't working. I'll figure out a way to get it posted.

Good. Nothing major. Not even a concussion. He was back at the DECC before the team left for home.
The reason he wasn't moving is they thought it might be a neck injury and did not want to risk more damage.

First Jason Blake against the Wild, now this. Two bullets dodged for Moorhead guys.

I'm glad he wasn't hurt. I've never seen a hit like that at the DECC.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ldogFan at: 12/18/05 9:03 pm

Hounds Vs Spuds

Post by CanAm28 »

Nice win for the Hounds. Ben Lies played very well and has the ability to give his team a chance to win every night. Hounds have a well executed powerplay, scoring a couple of really pretty goals.
#11 for the Spuds is one of the best prep stickhandlers I've seen in a long time. Spud's #7 and #15 also impressed me. I think the Spuds are a better club, but do seem to lack that snipper up front that can consistently burry his chances.
For the Hounds, I like #14 up front. He's clearly East's most talented forward. Their little defenseman #3 is a smart player. Was not impressed with #6.
Glad to hear the injured Spud player is okay. The whole event was kind of scarry. I noticed the bench post is positioned right at the red line. This makes for an area on the ice that will always have some confrontations as players are trying to gain their respective offensive zones. Glad nothing serious happened to this player.

Congrats to both programs. Especially to Coach Randolph. The schedule he plays year after year has to be the toughest in the state. Keep it going East.

I took in the game, and also watched it on the delay. pretty scary moment for krause and all hockey fans. the slow replay really looked bad. clean hit on the part of the east player. glad to here krause will be ok. I think that east has the "potential" to be solid down the stretch. alot of things need to come into line. Leis is solid and has big time potential, and Turnbull is no doubt there spark plug and most skilled player. Flaherty and Johnson are quite possibly two of the top sophs in the state, and will be huge impact players in the randolp system of hard work. i think there are a few plyers that are under achieving at this point, and are not playing a good team game, that could make a big difference. East has a big problem on D. they get beat to loose pucks, and either cannot see the ice or cant make the play to break the puck out. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. With Randolph at the helm, I am betting the boys will come around to his way of thinking or you may see a pile of young kids moving up. The power play is a little rough, but skill wise has potential to be lethal. Best of Luck boys!! Moorhead, is still a very good team. They lost krause in the first period, you just dont replace a guy like him. I think there is alot of weight on the shoulders of Leis, and getting out shot every game is going to be the norm. Sec 7AA is going to be a crap shoot this year. I look forward to seeing it all unfold.
