North was actually supposed to be a little down this year with the split and all. But really they didn't lose much if anything because of the split. They have a pretty good group of forwards that make up the first two lines with their best forward being Andrew Kappers. The third line is pretty weak as are the defense (with the loss of Barr to Jefferson). A solid defensemen for them is senior Bobbie Ritchie and look for junior Josh Lehrer to get a lot of ice team too once he gets back from having mono. After these two lies no defensemen worth noting. I'd say their biggest hurdle this season will be overcoming their lack of depth. But they will definitely be a contender for Section 1AA.

They beat Jefferson because their goalie Adam Okeson stood on his head the entire game stopping, if I remember correctly, 41 of 44 shots. Also Jefferson played pretty poorly and also overlooked them.

Yeah the Lake is tough this year...but there is definitely one weak team and that is Lakeville South, they may not win a conference game. But who knows...
