Wanted to BUY: Tapes of Old HS hockey games

If you have any copies on vhs or dvd I am trying to put together some tapes for a buddy of mine and myself.<br><br>Games I would love on tape<br><br>96 Duluth East vs. Apple Valley (ot's galore)<br>ANY games from 1979-1990 state tourney games on WCCO<br>1985 Jefferson vs. Mtka ( game ended the next morning)<br>1983 Cloquet vs. Columbia Hts. (Section 2 Final won by Hts.)<br>1993 Cloquet tourney Langenbrunner<br>Edina vs. Eden Prairie Section Final (was it 95 or 96? that went 4 or 5 ot's)<br>1986 Denfeld games Robbie Stauber<br>1979 Edina East vs. Cooper (Section 6 final)<br>Exciting State Finals.........................................ETC.<br><br>Anyway, if you or any of your buddies are interested in making copies/selling, feel free to POST your games you have on this TOPIC and/or email me at Froomcat@yahoo.com<br><br><br>Maybe we could Keep this post floating with games people have they would be willing to trade/sell, etc?<br><br>Thanks<br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>

Anybody have some tapes? I can't believe no one has or knows anyone who might have some of these games.<br><br>Also, can you buy old games from the HS league? I tried WCCO and they said it was super expensive - ANy ideas?<br> <p></p><i></i>

Froomcat, here's what I have:<br><br>1988 Warroad-Edina State tournament semifinal game<br>1994 Bloomington Jefferson-Moorhead championship game<br>1996 Duluth East-Apple Valley semifinal classic<br><br>2003-2005 most games from A-AA state tournament<br>2004 Hill Murray-Centennial Section 3 championship<br><br>You can email me at c_koeh@hotmail.com. I prefer to trade, I'm sure we can work out some kind of deal.<br><br>One issue with videotape is that the more generations you get away from the original copy, the quality really gets bad. Theoretically, DVDs should solve that problem but I'm sure those can have problems too if flaws are introduced.<br><br>I've brought this subject up a few times and my sense has been that the people who have tapes of older games aren't really interested in making copies for us have-nots. I can understand not wanting to get deluged with requests for games, but still it would be really nice to give people a chance to see some of these older games. I'd be willing to be a point person for those who have the games to offer to those who don't--in trade, not for cash or profit. At some point I'd like to convert the games I have to DVD, but I don't have the equipment for that right now.<br><br>One caveat is that I only trade tapes of games broadcast on TV. I know videoscout has games that he taped that he sells and I wouldn't trade tapes of those games. <p></p><i></i>
