i would hardly call it a game. even though we dominated denfeld, cloquet still did not play a very solid game. cloquet missed 4 or 5 goals that should have been easy. I have two questions for denfeld though. one is how are you guys undefeated? And two is do you have a J.V. goalie to play in the next game instead of the two jokes you guys had in net last night

Cloquets for real

Denfeld vs Cloquet

Post by dmkook »

The kid from Moose Lake had 5 of the goals. The private schools do all the recruiting, right?

HAHA Good One DM good point. Cloquet has a nice squad this year. But like every other year they will lose to the Other Duluth School when it counts. So yes 9th line way to go you beat Class A Denfeld sweet good job!!! I will look forward to still hearing you bash other teams when yours is sitting home in March like always!!

Cloquet + 7AA Playoffs = CHOKE!!!

See now what I find funny is that 9th line will come back on hear and say I am in poor taste..... Just telling the truth 9th line come back in talk when Cloquet figures out a way to get of 7AA.

Lets think about this...

Cloquet has a pretty good AA team right now and they have knocked off some very good teams...Duluth East, White Bear Lake, Blaine, just to name a few, and hung with Grand Rapids, only to lose 3-4, only real disappointment thus far was a big 0-4 loss to a tough Minnetonka Team...

Duluth Denfeld is an undefeated, VERY YOUNG ONE A who is going up against a tough Cloquet team...I think the fact that Denfeld is undeafeted is they pulled together against Hermantown to win and they beat Virginia, as well as mound westonka, they are all pretty legit wins if you ask me...1A is just a little down this year compared to last...We are expecting them to compete with every AA school because Warroad and Breck were able to the last couple years...Look At those teams now...AA is back on top and will win 8/10 A vs AA games... Lets give Denfeld Some credit for being a young team in a Duluth Marshall and Duluth East high school hockey town...There best players are still sophomores..and there best one made a mess of the elite league last fall...look at his stats...

congrats to Cloquet thought, i hope they can return to the State Tournament once again, they are a very good team, and i like the program a lot, have a lot of respect for the coaches.

Recruiting?

Post by pukstopshereML »

I have to counter you on this dm, I know for a fact that the kid from Moose Lake was not recruited, he had to get away from the bad coaching situation in ML and Cloquet is the closest school to open enroll at. Cloquet is fortunate to have him.

If cloquet where to Recruit why wouldnt they go for someone from a bigger school instead of someone from ML? they didnt recruit him i know that for a fact.
