Top Sophomores

Post by KDavis20 » Sun Dec 25, 2005 1:14 pm

Connor Rooney of STA is a very good sophomore. He has excellent speed and crashes the net very well. He has a lot of potential and is very strong physically and on his skates for his size. Also he is playing with Baer and Schroeder of STA, so he should have a great season as he is second on the team in scoring right now, with 12 points in 7 games right now. Schroeder leads the team with 14 points in 7 games.

I firmly believe Joe Howe out of Wayzeta should have been the other golie on that Select 15 team. Starting golie for Wayzeta Varsity this year I believe?

Hm..probably Colten, from what I saw from the kid, I just do not think he as good as Howe.

Jake Johnson's father is not Larry. Larry is the father of Brett, Trent and one other son. Jakes father is Dean. You were right about Larry playing for Edina and Michigan though. Pretty sure Dean played some minor league hockey in the late 60's early 70,s. Both are Great guys.
