A little Metro heavy don't you think?

What are you reasons for not putting Cloquet in the top 5?

AHA doesn't get my vote until they start playing somebody.

HM, Centennial, Duluth East, WBL, Moorhead all play the toughest schedules they can get (non-conference). Now THAT is a reason to put them in your top five. Even though I can't stand two of them. They earned my respect.

I say AHA because they still have a strong team from last year and they are always strong. Players are always coming to the Academy and I think that any year you have to put them in the top 5.

You really only have a top 2, (Hill and AHA) then the rest of the top 10 are close to equal.

newspudfan, why dont you go watch them play a game and then say they are not #1. This team this year is unreal and probably the best they have ever had... barribal looks like he is playing against a bunch of bantams (granted the competition is not that great anyway) All i got to say is if they play moorhead they will make them look weaker than last year

This is a post for "top five". That is why I included Duluth East. I guess I wasn't aware that I had to go into detail for people like you to understand.

Are we a little bitter that the "EREmpire" hasn't stricken back yet?

I am a little curious..... out of your 2670 posts, do any of them contain anything other than prepubescent sarcasm?

I was trying to give credit to five good programs, but instead of taking it for its intended meaning, you find one little phrase that could be taken a different way and try to make it into something it is not.

Although it isn't correct, you at least used prepubescent right so no means to "go after" that. Don't worry, one of these days you will be stricken by the Empire that is ER again.

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

I think you have to begin considering EP. Yes, they fell appart against Jefferson. But, other then that - yes, they tied AV 1-1. 45 shots against Beggs, Took care of Elk River, beat G. Rapids, and shut out Edina 4-0.

Also, yes it was a scrimmage, but EP scored more then AHA (9- and controled the scrimmage against Centennial (4-1).

Just a thought!

AHA is definitely up there along with H-M. I would like to say WBL too, but Cloquet did beat them, so we will have to see how WBL fairs in the next upcoming weeks. Moorhead is also a very good team, and so is Centennial. I wouldn't put Cloquet in the top 5 because they beat East and WBL. They beat East because they get pumped up for that game, and they came to play. If Cloquet was beating teams like say, Moorhead, Apple Valley, or Centennial, or even playing teams like these, then maybe they could be considered for top 5. Otherwise this is what I think the top 5 should be:

1.AHA
2.H-M
3.BJ
4.Moorhead
5.Centennial
(I know it is the same as LPH.)
