extra bouncy?

I agree that Nitskorski's goal was a little iffy, but roseville's second goal was ridiculous too. the puck kept bouncing straight back up over the net. what was up with that, I've never seen that happen before?

And you can't say Moorhead didnt deserve this one.

Jordy's goal at the end was incredible, a great combination of hard work and talent.

What it is... He was supposed to play tonight. Must have been a game day decision. Or they decided it wasn't worth the risk.

I have noticed through the years that Morinville often lets his curt players skate in warm ups but then they sit for the game. I think he does this just to let the kid get some ice time. Keep him warm. Krause suffered a pretty bad concusion against East from what the commentary said.

Anyone else get a kick out of the interview with the Roseville kid after the 2nd period?

"ummmmmmmmm i scored and im uhhh only a sophomore" "I'm uhh a sophomore but i helped out in this win here" "ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm we need to get more shots and umm yeah"

I also liked Pat Deitz's quote "we haven't played a game in 10 games"

There were a couple of chances for both teams after high shots deflecting right back in front of the net. Must be something with the X's glass.
I thought teams played pretty well, some costly mistakes. Moorhead should of won the game, and they did. Although Moorhead's second goal didn't go in, to me. Looked as though it hit the crossbar nd shot back out. They played a replay on the big screen and the roseville coaches were very upset with the call after seeing the replay.

roseville vs. moorhead

Post by ae42 »

that goal hit the crossbar, but at the game it looked like it went in 'cause those pipes don't make a sound. when we saw it on video replay it was clear that the puck did not go in. Roseville got screwed!
