Hibbing Tourney

Im pretty sure they had no goals disallowed during this game. The First one that was even close Parks goalie made a spectacular glove save to keep it out, and the second one it was just a quick whistle he covered it and the whistle blew. Dont think there was a third......o yah and im pretty sure that Hibbing has Goal judges so unless the goal judge is sleeping then there were none disallowed

34, What were the shots, stats and some highlights for Park. Congratulations on a GREAT tournament. I'm sure Tim Donahue and Paul Olson are mighty proud!

Wow, GR got beat by another Class A team. What's up with that. They looked to be on somewhat of a roll. Hope that doesn't jump up and bite them for seedings.

If SLP edged Edina, how is it such an awful thing to lose to them? I don't understand?

Grand Rapids has played a brutal schedule so far. Their worst losses are 4-2 losses to Virginia and Moorhead. Everyone is so slap happy over Brainerd and Cloquet (which in their own right have done very well), 2 teams defeated by Grand Rapids. Go to section7hockey.com and look at the results and stats. Rapids is a tough team with nothing to be ashamed of. Grand Rapids stats wise has the best goaltending in 7AA. Cloquet is #2. Typically it's the teams with the best goaltending that play into March. In recent years Rapids has played tough teams, lost half of them close, and were blown out in the others. This year every game is close and they're pulling some of them out. The thing I'm waiting to see, is will Rapids lose games they are supposed to win in Jan. and Feb. vs. I Falls, Eveleth, and Bemidji.
