Sorry, I'm quite a ways away and won't know anything about the game, just the gametime, perhaps someone that goes will be able to get that info for you.

Lourdes 5 Princeton 2

Post by Subzero »

Crowley in nets for Lourdes, not sure on the Princeton goalie. SOG were pretty one sided in Lourdes favor thought I heard 22-3 after first period. Princeton coach was pretty vocal about the refs; don't think he did himself any favors and probably caused his team to buy into the "refs are screwing us" mentality, which never leads to anything positive. Bahneman (sp?) and Amundson are really playing well right now, seem to know where each other are at all times. Throw in Anderson and you have a pretty good top line. Team depth still looks to be a factor for them though and I'm the defenseman seem to take too many chances for my liking.

I think Lourdes is the better team and would have won anyhow, but the officiating was pretty bad and almost always against Princeton. I thought Int. Falls had some legitimate complaints in their game against Lourdes as well. Hastings really had some beefs against the guys doing their game against Fargo South as well. I still think Fargo South was the better team, but for the 2nd year in a row Hastings has really been on the wrong side of some horrible officiating.

Don't count the mighty Sparatans from Richfield out just yet. They are playing well and have just as much a shot against Lourdes as anyother team.
GO SPARTANS
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

well i can help you on one part of it, richfields four goals came out of: dhein-2 gruetzmacher-1 seaman-1
and some of the players that were in effect were probably nick powers for lourdes and gruetzmacher for richfield.
