Overrated!!!!!

From the games that I've seen, and the people that I've talked to, it all adds up to one thing. "Pryor is not living up the hype."

Hockey...21-I appreciate the compliment of being on Hill's staff, but I'm just a long-time HM fan.

He is a very skilled player I've watched him at the select 15 camp this past summer, but he is only a 90 he has a long way ahead of him i agree that he should jus take itone step at a time and prove himself in high school before thinking about USHL or any D-1 college

This is for starplaya1 as well as finn70.

You said that college coaches can't even talk to high schoolers until they're juniors.

In todays St. Paul Pioneer Press sports, it says that University of Minnesota womens basketball coach Pam Borton has already offered a scholarship to Minneapolis South freshman star Tayler Hill. Hill can't sign a letter of intent until the fall of 2008 when she'll be a senior.

Thus proving that Nick Pryor can verbally commit to Wisconsin and that the coaches can obviously talk to him while he's a freshman in high school.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... md>wbmd at: 1/5/06 7:16 pm

Stop The Crap

I know of this situation personally and directly, many of you need to stop and think rationally about what you're saying. I'm not going to knock the kid because he's a kid and a decent player, and I don't know his Dad in any way - but I know Wisconsin.

Put the rules aside for a moment and consider this: you're Mike Eaves, forecasted to be by many and in fact at present the #1 team in the nation, and you're in one of the best recruiting positions in the country almost every single year, I mean you are sitting absolutely pretty - would you in any way seriously commit to this kid or lead him on, fine player that he may be, because of what you think he may amount to someday about 4-5 years out based on his having a good Select 15 like 2 dozen other kids?!?!? Unbelievable. In a better world this thread would be burned.

Also: there are different rules for different sports.

I said that wrong the university cant talk with him or pay for him to visit his junior year. The only way that it would work is if he contacted the university with on "unofficial visit" the only thing universities can do is send out questionaires.
