Can someone say immature? GR, your team definitely deserved to win. Grand Rapids played a really good game and Jefferson lacked in a lot of important areas, but seriously dude... chill out.

Don't put too much seriousness into it. Had to celebrate a little. You don't understand what GR fans have been through the last 10 years. I'm fine. It's other people like JLS 81 that have TERRIBLE perception problems.

Hockeyislife:

I think you are taking GR19 too seriously. I think most people here are having fun on the message board. Again, just a message board. Plus Rapids does get plenty of flack on this board, and not enough respect when they get a big win like they did tonight.

Good win for Rapids...it's nice to see the northern boys taking a big cities team down. Awesome. You know GR19, I might actually start believing that Rapids has a chance!!! Congrats

Majin

Majin, I'm starting to REALLY believe. I was truly in my heart and mind skeptical if this team would win today. Rapids fans have been so badly abused with OT loses and heartbreaking loses over the years, plus no state tourney's since 91'. I have been shocked 3 times this year, pleasantly, with OT wins. Does this make Rapids a lock in 7AA, anything but. 7AA will be as tough as state. Regardless of who they play in the semi's and title game if we get there, and any smart fan of a team should be like this, I'll be very nervous, but more optimistic than the last 10 years when we didn't have these victories. When we had Aaron Miskovich I was confident they could win any game. Now I believe, they can win in any game.

something just doesnt seem right with Jefferson this year, I know they have had some injuries.. but who hasnt, get in line...but talking with some BJ people before the season they thought this was there year.. thats not looking likely... not to take anything away from GR... thats a quality win...

Congratulations to the T-Hawks

I was not able to attend the game due to a family obligation in Wisconsin. I talked to my contacts that were at the game and they said it was a fabulous high school hockey game.

According to my sources there was one player inparticular that was very undisciplined and took some unecessary penalties which gave the hawks the opportunity to get back in the game.

Once again congratulations to the hawks and good luck in the 7AA race.

5 seconds away from a W. We let it slip away. But GR played well, and they deserved the win.

Its amazing how many penalty minutes Jefferson got in the 1st period. 24 minutes in the first period, 16 by Roberts and 6 by Addyman. I think Levine had the other 2.

Speaking of Levine, how about the start he had? 2 goals that quick. I thought he would get the hat trick the way he started off.

For GR, I was impressed with Patrick White and Trevor Hicks. White I knew about heading into the game, but Hicks surprised me. Congrats to GR on a good, exciting game.

EDIT: Ben Dupont is #9 on the third Jefferson goal.
-------------------

Catholics have churches, fat people have Wisconsin, and I have the Pawtucket Patriot brewery.- Peter Griffin
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... oren808 at: 1/8/06 9:34 pm
