EP is real solid. I know there were questions around EP coming in to this season. Some people were saying that they were going to have a tough time scoring, their D was going to be short on talent, and goaltending was untested.

The team is scoring very well - they rank 11th in the metro in scoring with 47 goals (about 4 goals per game against some very tough competition)

Defense and Goaltending is very solid - only 20 goals against (1.65 per game), only Delano, Red Wing, and SLP have fewer goals against.

They have played a tough schedule and hold a 9-2-1 record, outshot all of their opponents except 1. They have come out on top of scrimmages against Centennial, MG, and have split against AHA (9-8 and 2-3).

This team keeps improving each and every game - they are a solid contender this year!!!

If you pressure the D hard, I mean finish checks and beat them to the corners, I think they can be taken. But the teams that beat them will have to have good goaltenders because they will get their shots and their scoring chances. I don't think many teams will beat them because as Puckhead63 said, they are solid.

I really think this EP team has potential but the got to get the monkey off their chest and beat the "Jags" This team competes with them every year but never comes out on top, last year in the final regular season game they tied the Jags at BIG, i was gettin worried for the Jags coming up in sections, and what do ya know, we play them again in sections and the Jags win like 5-1. This is a good team but this in my mind isnt the year for the eagles to pull off that upset, i like the chances for next year few years cuz EP has some potential uality varsity players coming up from JV, but i think jefferson does as well. We'll see what happens for EP this year.

hockeyJ,

Hope EP can get the Jag monkey off their back -- as well as their chest! Actually, I didn't think monkeys got on teams chests -- unless the team is flat on their backs!
