The Crusade to St. Paul

Post by packerboy » Fri Dec 16, 2005 1:03 pm

In medieval times, The Crusades were undertaken, in fullfilment of a solemn vow, to deliver the Holy Places from tryanny.

In March of 2006 there will be a modern day Crusade. It will be an undertaking, in fullfilment of a solemn vow, to deliver The Saintly City, a holy place indeed, from tryanny.

The Crusades of medieval times consisted of groups from many lands and sections of Europe.

The Crusade to St Paul will consist of groups from four AA sections.

From the far east and section 3 will come the Pioneers of Hill Murray

From the middle east and section 2 will come the Raiders of Cretin-Derham Hall

From the south west and section 5 will come the defending, and soon to be repeat, champs...the Stars of The Academy of Holy Angels.

From the sort of middle west and section 6 will come the always classsy and new to AA..The Red Knights of Benilde St Margaret's.

Thats right boys and girls... 4 Catholic schools in the state tournamnet..half the field.

The phobics have been posting here for years that these schools should have threir own tournamnet. Well, now we do.

The Crusade to St Paul will rid the world of the tryanny of the fat cat , tax payer funded, face in public trough, behemouth suburban public schools. It will be the dawn of The Renaissance that will end the pagan infidel's 30 year strangle hold on the AA event.

There will be fish sticks and macoroni and cheese served at the concession stands for the Friday sessions. There will be kneelers installed in each row of the Xcel.

After the national anthem, we will say 3 Hail Marys and 4 Our Fathers before face off.

I know, I know. The fans of the 5 time champion Jags are thinkin "no way, we live in prestigious west Bloomington". Da Bear fans are out on White Bear Lake in the icehouses sayin "hey that curse thing isnt for real..is it?"

But the Catholics are comin to St Paul in March. The phobics can chant "daddy's money" non stop cuz there will always be a Catholic team on the ice.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ckerboy at: 12/16/05 4:15 pm

Way to early to buy the Easter bonnets for the big dance...... I think you may be right on for three teams, but one of these teams is not like the other. If this is true, the X will be empty on Friday because all the faithfull will be up the hill at the Cathedral.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

If I was to guess, I would say the real crusaders from St. Louis Park, the Red Knights from BSM. I believe that Jefferson will still come out of this section.

Again it is still way to early to tell.....
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >Zamman at: 12/16/05 1:59 pm

It is early but 25% of the season has been played for most teams. Pretty soon it will be gettin kind of late to still be sayin its early.

If you read between the lines, I acknowledge that the roadblocks to BSM and HM doing it are fierce and formidable.

But so were the Turks as they attacked the pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem. Just like the pilgrims. our 4 Crusaders shall be attacked on their way to The Holy City...but theyll make it.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ckerboy at: 12/16/05 2:24 pm

Sure, CDH will be done in one. The Crusading Spirit

Post by Bart82 » Tue Dec 20, 2005 1:24 pm

By the Fourth Crusade the Crusaders had turned on their fellow brethren in Constantinople and never made it to the Holy Land.

Does this mean that the Red Kinghts and Stars will turn on each other in Minneapolis (Mariucci) and fall in their quest for the Grail?

Only one of the 4 can take home the Holy Grail.

The cowardly pagans have layed ambushes in the brackets to prevent an all Crusader semi but 2 Crusaders will reach the finals.

Since it was oh so popular in 2002, a repeat seems only fiting.

Again, because of the traps laid by the infidels some of our Crusaders will cover the flank.

But headquaters in March will be the holy place with a new roof right up the hill overlooking the Xcell on the strategic high ground.

How interesting (and hilarious) that the section 8 faithful have become "Cathaholics". Not that I dispute their presumption on who will be left circling the ice at the X. If Crusades it will be, bring it on. We heathen Citiots will fight heartily....(for the 3rd place trophy).

The 4 Catholic Crusaders and their faithful, if not faithless, allies expect fierce and formidable resisitance on the way to the Holy City to crush the infidels.

But if the battle plan is followed, only one tyrant will make it to the event.

Well Neut, you have to keep in mind that this thread is a Crusade against an identifiable demon. It is an Intelligent Design , so to speak.

Under such circumstances, some unexpected allianaces, holy or not , can be consumated.

The question before the council of bishops is whether there is enough traffic up in Tony's and ER's kingdom to qualify it as one of the demons.
