ELK RIVER

Post by elkriversuperfan04 » Wed Dec 17, 2003 8:35 pm

elk river obviously has the best fans in the state. there is no one that comes even close to how loud we are. we come out in force and we represent. even at away games we are there. if any of u kids on here are from Maple Grove, we are making our anual trip down, going 45 on the highway to come and kill u in the game. We will be in Edina this weekend and the X next. see u bioches there.........

RIOT CREW

They have to be heard to be believed. They turn the DECC into their home ice whenever they play there.

The New Barn is even louder.

Lee

LoL It's awesome you Elk River kids are keeping me company this year on here...last year it was this entire board against me. Accept for this BackChecker guy who isn't on anymore. And it's just such a sigh of relief to see that Elk River hockey has some fans back!! They have been really lacking bad since the class of 2000 graduated. But after the last game I saw (which was Champlin Park), I was very confident a new fan base has been born. I will have to point out and show a few things to ya though. But you're off to an incredible start. Keep it up!!!

I have to give the traveling Prior Lake kids the props. They were rowdy and vocal, but pretty well in check the whole game against AHA at Richfield on Tuesday night. They sat right behind their team bench and pounded on the boards above their teams heads and continue to cheer throughout the game.

#1 Elk River fans for sure. I have not seen so many drunk 30+ year olds gathering for a high school game but it looks like they are all having a good time.
#2 Edina fans cast of characters having fun.
#3 Roseville fans east side version of Edina fans. Looks like they are having a great time and that is what it is all about.

ifalls fans.

You cant beat the ifalls fans. We may not be the loudest or the rowdiest fans there, but when the broncos make it to state, the town shuts down. Everyone is in the cities. No one does work in school we just watch the tourny. Businesses shut down. People dont go to work just to watch the broncos play down in the cities. And this has been a tradition for years. City schools will never have as much hockey pride as iron range and northern minnesota schools.

Centennial's fans

Post by FluggsHockey03 » Thu Dec 18, 2003 4:19 pm

I was at both the roseville game and edina game and both times centennial had close to or more fans than the opposing team. (Edina was a 45 minute drive). Ive never seen elk river fans before so i cannot say nething about them but at centennial's first home game against white bear the arenas tickets were sold out in about 30 minutes. Not to mention the cougar fans who tailgated at 1 pm for a 7:30 game. You may not believe me about the fans at centennial but i suggest if your team plays them to be ready!

Well Flugg, keep your calander open on the 29th, because there just might be a showdown at the Excel center between the two teams.

After last nights game between CLoquet and Duluth East, I would have to say Cloquet has the best fans (AT least up north). Even though they might not have the best team this year their fans are still dedicated. Cloquet fans outnumbered Easts fans by a good margin and the student section probably was doubled that of the East's. A teams fan's stick with the team through the hard times and not just ride the wave of the great seasons.
