I'll take the Wild in six. Is Pronger's toe healed?

I don't know if the Wild can pull this off.

I forsee the Wild going on one of those 150 some minute scoring droughts against these guys.

Giguere has a way of just stopping a team's offense in its tracks.

I didn't think the Wild used their speed well at all.

I don't think they had a chance to. Anaheim was banging them around pretty good. There wasn't a lot of open space to operate in.

The Wild better comeout ready to hit and be hit tonight. If they want to win they need to get some ugly goals.

Rough game at the beginning. Brent Burns fights after the some very rough stuff around both nets.

If the Wild don't start scoring they will get swept.

The Wild are flat out not as good as Anaheim. They aren't as big, they aren't as skilled, they aren't as smart. Thank god for Backstrom or I think these games would have all been more than 1 goal games. During Game 3 tonight late in the second right during a penalty kill until the end of the period the Wild did show a little heart and I thought they were for sure going to score, but it didn't happen. They just aren't able to control that puck for long enough to get anything big going.

This being said maybe we can get a 4 game comeback? Doubtful but never impossible.

Go Wild! =D> =D> =D>

Ducks are a tough draw.

The Wild really needed to win the division to get through the first round.

The Ducks are just like the Isles of '81, they give Minnesota one so they can win it at home.

Great game. Maybe IS is right (hope not) but either way game 5 is Thursday night. Anything can happen.

Nice win for the Wild last night.

But I found the Wild TV announcers really annoying. In the 3rd period they were complaining endlessly about the refs. I had a chance to watch the 3rd period again this morning with my son who had to go to bed before the game ended. They whined about the ref calling off the 5th goal, but I saw a Wild player with a skate in the crease in front of the goalie, it looked like the right call to me.

Another play looked bad, Wes Walz was checked from behind with no call and then got penalized when he retaliated. A closer look at this play revealed that Walz turned his back at the last second so the Duck player had no chance to let up and to me it looked like Walz retaliated by clipping Pronger in the head with a high stick. In other words, the refs got it right. The play was replayed maybe twice, showing the check from behind which looked bad from the angle they showed and then a high shot that showed the end of the play but there was no close shot of Walz clipping Pronger.

In general I have found these announcers to be homers to the nth degree without adding much insight or perspective.

Despite that annoyance, it was a fun game to watch. The Ducks played airtight hockey the first three games but when this game got out of hand their play deteriorated and they turned to cheap shots and intimidation tactics. It will be interesting to see if the Ducks return to playing hockey in the next game or if they're still distracted by the physical extraneous stuff.

Good win for the Wild. Maybe they can be the Red Sox of the NHL? I doubt it, but it would be nice to atleast get this thing to a game 6 and play in front of the home town crowd gain.
