5AA
Id say its too early to tell. Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan are my top three choices that id say will meet Holy Angels in the Section Championship.

Re: 5AA
I usually am one to pick the boys in this situation, but I am not going to predict them in the championship just yet. Way to early. I would guess that the final would be AHA vs AV, or EV or Burnsville..... We will have to wait and see.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

yeah it is a little early..but AV in the championship??
i dont know about that though. i mean they are going to be SOLID for defense with medvec and fischer but i mean whos going to be doing the scoring? And then theres beggs. he is a solid goalie yes, but once a team gets rolling on him he is a little rusty.(i've seen him play many games when he played for rosemount)...oh and theres another story, rosemount. I think this group of kids could have a very nice shot at that to. They have the depth, the scoring, and the defense to do it. yes you may call me crazy but this year that "hack" label rosemount was given will be torn off. this new Coach Macho is a very promising coach and with the determination of his players i think they could make a run for it. as well as burnsville, they will be solid.

Re: Section 5AA
Eastview has a bunch of great returning players and think that they will make it to the finals...They are returning all but 7 players, and the others have gotten better over the off season, They have an Excellent foward and future star in Robert Maloney, and a great group of leaders who can get the job done...I am expecting that a lot of players will step up and surprise some people....Rosemount will be good but people say this every year, i just hope that the coach can turn the tainted name of the rosemount program around and they can be a good rivalry again...not just a hack team that gets killed by every one in the lake.

Re: Section 5AA
just about your last comment..actually i remember rosemount beating eastview 7-2 last year..and also beat burnsville and chaska so i dont really think they get killed by EVERYONE.

Re: Section 5AA
When EV lost to rosemount 2-7, there goalie was out sick, there back up goalie injured, and the only goalie who was there that could play was the backup JV goalie, not too mention they were missing there captain, and 2 lines of defensemen...So they had a victory over a different Team...But they did have some other impressive victories, like you said over Chaska and Burnsville...I think Ronny Was just talking about the past, when they used to get beat big time...

yeah i think he was talking about that..that was no diss to EV though because they have some talent there but i dont think enough to make it through that hard section. Im not saying Rosemount does but still it will be a difficult process for any team...especially going against the powerhouse AHA.

av
if u dont think av will be in the section championship you are insane. Fischer medvec and beggs all d1 players. thats not all though, they have tabor who was on second line last year, politz a real talented junior forward, and uzarek another experienced senior. Plus countless others who were called up from jv last year to play in some games. There deeper than most of you might think.

AV vs AHA in the championship

Re: av
I dont agree, and ovbioulsly your a AV player. Yea they have talent, no doubt...but 3,4,5 players isn't enough. I believe that 3 even lines, with the first line having the most talent, equal D and a solid goalie woudl be a better fit than 3 D1 players on one team. Who knows, maybe im wrong..but I see AV having one of their weaker years, i guess well all find out

Re: av
were have Beggs and Medvec signed with, i dont see there names on any D1 signing, or letter of intent lists...Also Medvec and Fischer cant be on the ice at all times, and AV did a dumb thing and played only there first two lines last year, so the players, Tabor (Who is a small kid) and politz, which were mentioned earlier, hardly had any expierience. And Beggs, gets out of control after allowing 2 or 3 goals and throws his stick so watch out for his temper, Fisher and Medvec May be good, i wouldnt say medvec and beggs D1 though...
