Hey Nay-sayers, Grand Rapids upsets Cloquet 4-3 in OT

Well, how does section 7AA look right now? I've never been so pumped early on. Wow, I wish I could have been at the game. Congratulations to the boys in Grand Rapids who have worked so hard. BTW, they didn't even have Jared Smith tonight.

Well, it's high school hockey. you have to play with who you got! I'm sure Esse isn't happy with the outcome, but a couple young kids stepped in and played pretty well for CEC. This isn't the team you will see in feb, but it's nice to see some kids get some experience. It's a tough loss, but it's not how you start......it's how you finish.

Imagine after all these years of predicting outcomes you are finally right. Good job...but how'd ya know?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >wild77 at: 11/29/05 9:55 pm

Certain things I heard from people close to or on the team made me feel that the things that hurt them last season were fixed. And by no means do I think because of this win Rapids is a lock to beat them in the playoffs. It will be a battle each time. But, I certainly enjoy this after being on the short end all 3 times last year.

Missing Players

Yeah...I'm agreeing with you on that one "Breakaway Shot". But, to Rapids defense they were also missing players. I guess we'll just have to wait and see until the next meeting rolls around. I believe it's sometime in January, but I could be wrong.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... Puck219 at: 11/29/05 10:40 pm
