Shot were 51-33 in favor of GR. Grand Rapids threw a ton of rubber on goal. I had a real good seat for the game.

Hockeywild, out of 51 shots not every single shot is considered a quality shot...sometimes statistics are just annoying things we all have to know and keep track of, but only those who witnessed the game will ever be able to tell us how many were of quality. But, I do agree that 51 shots is alot for any goalie to see, quality or not.

Ried Ellingson is one heck of a goalie, but make no mistake about it, Grand Rapids brought good shots. It's just you have very good atheletes on both sides going head to head. Reid made some nice stops, but GR got some goals too from what I was told. I'll let you know after I watch the tapes.
