Star Tribune Hockey Preview

What a pathetic hockey preview for the lead paper in "The State of Hockey". About 1/2 page for high school hockey - are you kidding me? If they would push the articles on Janel McCarville, Lindsey Whalen and the rest of the Gopher women's basketball to the Variety section where it belongs they could maybe give MN High School Hockey the coverage it deserves.
Sorry, a little crabby today.

maybe they need a special section for MN high school hockey? Not everyday, just at the opener, and then come state time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the preview was pathetic. It was so skimpy as to not even merit any consideration. And, the rankings show that whoever put it together clearly knows NOTHING about the current high school hockey scene.

Wayzata #5 in the metro? Joey Miller is a helluva football player and a very good hockey player but there is no way that that team is even in the top 15 this year - unless they can triple shift Miller.

Blake and Breck top 10 - come again?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >Bart82 at: 12/1/05 10:18 pm

This preview sounded like it was writting by someone who was told over the phone how to write it. I used to look forward to these previews but man this one was pathetic. What's the deal with no mention of any schools outside of the metro? They should cover the whole state.
