best game coach and why

Post by sloppyice » Fri Dec 02, 2005 9:36 pm

Allright, who in your opinion are the top coaches that manage a game during gametime and why. I am not looking for the coach that attracts the best talent, but he that knows how to match lines, organize a powerplay,
push the right buttons, manage the referess....

You must justify your choices.

Sarsland.

Does more with less talent, can somehow figure out how to win with two lines, and gets his kids to believe they can win.

Trebil sees the ice better because he is taller than Sarsland. If Sarsland used a step ladder and then combed his hair I'd be persuaded to vote for the loose canon. Greg has lost his enthusiasm and is now kinda like a stuffed El Cid behind the bench. But height is still a very important factor even if he is comatose.
