ok, someone has to support the maroon/gold.. Denfeld 4-2. The hawks lost alot of firepower from last years team, more then the hunters did. Plus, the hunters know this is their first chance this season to show that the program is improving. lets hope the coaches can show the same. Go Hunters.

Denfeld looks to be a quality team this year, and a win against Hermantown would not be that big of a shock.
I am going to predict Denfeld wins, 5-3.

This is going to be a great game, I'd really like to see the Hunter's take it. The Hawks have been beatin them up the past few years so I'd like to see Denfeld get a taste of revenge.

Denfeld wins 4-3, but is outshot by nearly a 2-1 margin. Hermantown was definetly the better coached, and more physical team, while Denfeld had the better goaltending and break away speed. both are quality teams. Denfeld needs to pick up their physical play(less fishing for the puck), and play
better defensively in their zone(less fishing for puck here also, more body). if they did this, they could have a outstanding season. should be a great rematch in Hermantown..

fun game to watch if you are a Hunter fan (I am not)
they capitalized on their oppurtunities and we did not

Denfeld played with what they have--speed
they are not a big team so I dont't expect to see them get too physical
last nights game proves they don't need to

I am looking forward to the rematch already
The Hawks will win at home

I didn't expect Denfeld to knock hermantown off the puck, just be more willing to get into them more with the body. Watched East play Central the game before this, and East is not a physically big team, but they played the body constantly.

I agree hawkfan, denfeld is a young team, and the future is bright for them. besides the players you mentioned, I also liked the freshman defenseman, #15, he was by far their most physical defenseman. and he has good size at 6'1" for a freshman.
