Ok ok..i think we are lookin a little far into this..i mean..first things first..do you think that the coaches/faculty/school district would let that happen? i mean, to lots of us..it seems petty..but there would be soo much liability involved that it just would not happen. i have no idea where this got stirred up..but i can just hear people talking.."ooh they had to stay in East Grand on monday" "Oh yeah..i bet they were so excited to win that they slept right in the arena" or along those lines..and alrihgt..IF the game were Tuesday...MAYBE..maybe it wuold the traveling would have an effect..but i mean..lets not look THIS far into it. Has Warroad lost to an A team this year? Nah.. Are they going to let one to LOW slide?...NO.. i say Warroad 5 LOW 2

Yes LOW had to spend the night in grandforks because of bad weather no one was allowed to drive home including the fan bus. They didn't stay in the civic center they stayed at a motel in gf.

We all stayed at the Road King Inn...and I don't know Warroad could really get an advantage out of that anyway. There's plenty of time to catch up on the sleep lost. Rams1981...so you personally PLAYED then? or were you just a fan? because by personal experience i mean actually hands on playing in the games, otherwise you were just another person causing the high expectations am i correct, or still an "ignorant tootsie roll tosser". label me how you want, i would suppose you could since you're soooo experience with everything...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

wats your point of asking if HE HAS tournament experience..or if HE has hands on experience against warroad?? He is presumably older than you...more than likely played hockey..and you are calling him ignorant? regardless of wat you think...ANY player of the game can liken their experiences to teams..and big games much better than ANY cheerleader. maybe some of us havent actually PLAYED warroad personally..but that doesnt mean that they are on the same level as the mass majority of cheerleaders. its how the stereotype goes...and i think it fits <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

I guess sexist isn't the word I would use.. sad would be a better one. I guess if it makes you feel like a big man cutting down teenage girls.. more power to ya! I would think the proper adult response would maybe be to wish the Bears good luck instead? As for your thoughts on why you think LOW will lose, they really aren't realistic. Yes, the warriors have a better coach.. but a coach can only do so much. If the players are having an "off" game, all the coaching in the world won't assure them a win. As for past experience at the state tournament... so what. What does that possibly have to do with this game? Do you honestly think the Bears sit around and say "Gee.. We really don't care if we win this Section championship game or not because this is the farthest any LOW team has gone... and we really don't want to win because we don't know the "magnitude" of what is ahead if we do". How retarded is that?!! Also, this team has had a little experience in state games as you may remember they also went to the state Bantam tournament along with the warriors (Yes, I realize the "magnitude" is not quite as great at that level). Past records really don't matter at this point... because that history does not guarantee a win for the warriors. If I was a betting woman (which I am not), I wouldn't bet against the Bears!

It is sad how little women understand this sport. Bearcheer, you make good points, but to attack rams wasn't that most intelligen thing to do. You didn't even understand what he was talking about due to your female intellect, and you made yourself look like an idiot. And hockey mom, it is always great when the moms get into the sport. Just keep to your role and cheer on you child at his/her games, and leave the hockey talk to those that understand. As for this game. I give it to warroad, though i want LOW to win. You have to love an upset. This game had a lot of potentinal as these kids grew up, until Warroad added a couple players. Either way it is still going to be a great game, but Warroad will win 5-2 with an empty netter.

birdmister that is such a lame comment about hockeymom. If she has watched her kid play hockey all the way through varisty i'm pretty sure she knows a thing about hockey, and you would be suprised by the amount of woman that do know a lot about hockey, yes some do exist.

Bear Cheer, your points were valid. They just shouldn't have been aimed towards rams. He is good enough at takin care of himself, ill let him talk to you. Unless he is too old as you say,t hen this 17 yr old boy will have fun with it. Anyway, lets leave the game of hockey to the boys..... Can't believe I got to see that happen, but I support both arguments. First off, Beer Chair has been supportin my side of pushin for these BEARS to do it all this year ( and there haven't been many). Secondly, you gotta appreciate 81 for putting up with the DISGRACE of Brainerd being the #1 seed in his senior year (check yer programs). Things sure have changed, ahem, EH? You two towns have what all these other towns wish they had...it was proven in PeeWees and Bantams. There is gonna be a classic hockey game to decide it all. What could be better than that?? My prediction goes totally against the grain with all the 'modern' thinkers and right in line with my own. It is about time LOW wins one of 'em and this is the time. being a little sexist saying girls don't know anything about this sport arent we? and as for experience LOW players that are at varsity level beat warroad and went to state as bantam A's.... the only people they probably didn't play back then from warroad was the imports. just a thought to ponder... i guess time will tell and tonight this dispute will all be settled. 7:00 GAME TIME!

Defending Class A champs, undefeated against Class A schools, 2 wins over LOW and a coach who has nerves of steel and hockey mind on how to play and beat an opponent. As much as I would love to see LOW win this game, I think it will take a huge effort to pull this off. The other thing LOW has to overcome is referee Buzz Olson. Good luck to both teams. My head says 3-1 Warroad. My heart says 4-3 LOW!

You earned another Frosty for your great analysis of the situation. This one's gonna be a tight one tonight, whoever comes out flying has the edge in this one. The biggest key I see is goaltending, a cheap goal could win this one. BeerChair and MOMMY take a lead from G & W, she's on the right track. More power to any fan (LOW or Warroad) for thinking that their team will win tonight.... Not sure why we have to get so defensive towards each other. It's a hockey game (yes a section championship), nothing more. Heres to a fun game to watch or listen to tonight. Should be fun. Perhaps (OT) We could only hope..... I have watched both of the semi-final games and come away with the following thoughts. Warroad/TRF game - I thought TRF had a great game plan adn executed it to "almost" perfection. Coach Eades and the Warriors were no doubt nervous. TRF should be commended for the effort they gave. LOW/EGF - Low was clearly the better team and i am sorry to say my beloved greenwave was cheap and had no plan to win the game.They probably should have lost to Crrokston. The only way LOW can beaat Warroad is to follow TRF's plan and take away the front of the net and give no rebounds. If they try and slug it out with Warroad they will most certainly come up on the short end. I thought from the start that the Warroad/TRF game was the championship game. We shall see if i am right. Congratulations to both teams for being in the finals and lets have a great game. Prediction Warroad 5 - Low - 2

Regardless of your comments on hockey, which i dont always agree with..i will admit that it is you northern hockey cheerleaders that are an object of pride seeing that you girls really can skate, and dont have a nervous smirk on your face as do most of the metro cheerleaders when they don the ice with skates on.
