I think Chris Boline from Cloquet is very good. He hasn't been given the credit he desirves. I watched him in two of Cloquet's games this year and he was good.

Elk rivers ross orock he worked his ass of and he had a 1.1 gaa and he had like 7 shutouts i think he was better then sam but he never got to play because when u live in er u have to be cocky if u want to play <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

I know this is largely a Minnesota board, but since we beat almost all the Minnesota teams we played, what the heck. Brian Dalbec from Superior would have a chance to start on most of the teams we played this year, but when you are behind Wisconsin's All-State goalie, your chances aren't many. There are alot of teams in the Twin Ports area that could use Dalbec next year.

Well Tartans goalie was a lil' underrated, but he does seem to be very inconsistent. I kinda liked Tri-Citys goalie though. I only saw him play in the Tri-City v.s. Centennial section 3AA quarterfinal game though. Even though Centennial kept running the score up on him he seemed to be doing a good job against the team he was playing. He didn't seem to be getting much support from his defenseman either throughout the game. Though on a side not does anyone here think that Centennials goalie Stutz is a bit overrated. I know that he shut out the state tournament, but he never really made huge saves though there were no huge saves to make, because his defense was doing such a good job of keeping the pressure off of him. I'm not saying hes bad by any means, but I just think goalies like Fengel and SSP's goalie (sry don't know his name) are better.

Tim Bellin of Rogers. The only good thing on that team. Kept most teams under double digits when they could have scored 20. Most goalies would have gotten sick of 50 shots and 8 goals given up every night and only 1 maybe 2 goals in support, but he stuck with it and gave it all every game.
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Underated Goalies

A couple goalies of that kind, Tyler Carlson, of Two Harbors, Freshman and Logan Hoche, of Ely, Sophmore face 40-70 shots every game and keep them out of double digits. They'll be very good goalies after seeing every kind of shot possible.

First of all, learn how to spell. Second, did I say he was great? No I didn't. I said he was underrated and the thing I concentrated on was effort. How many goalies would have still gave it their all after getting beat game in and game out. Hell, I woulda gave up.

EREmpire, this doesnt regard goalies. But my team played rogers about midway through the season and their best player and Captain played JV. Do you know whats up with that?

2AHockey,
Yea, he's a good friend of mine. He had to play 1/2 the season on JV because of the 2nd transfer rule. He did the same for soccer too. There ya go! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

I would say Dustin Carlson from forest lake. He just recently signed with the spring field junior blues. Hes gotta be one of the most underated goalies in the state. Averaged over 40 shots a game and he stopped 62 of 64 sog against moundsview. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">
