Re: signs
Got Puck, or anyone still at AHA for that matter, the welfare welfare crap was not needed. I was sitting next to the two hot spanish teachers and we were really embarrased man. I thought it was funny when I was at AHA but looking at it from the stands, it makes everyone at AHA look like a spoiled brat. Its fun and all to yell back to 206, but not when you make a fool outa yourself, just lettin you know from a different point of view.
Go Buffs

Re: signs
Moorheads "you cant do that" chant and signs were single-handidly the dumbest thing ever created...wow i was just in awe at how stupid that chant was....<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

Chants
It was either Moorhead or Tartan that had a funny one when a puck went into the stands and a little kid got it then they chanted "throw it back" and so the kid was compelled to throw it over but then they chanted "we-were-kid-ding"

bandwagon
i noticed that alot of teams especially AHA...have the biggest bandwagon hopping fans ever. They have barely any fans at their home games and then there is about 50 times more fans at the state tournament...that pisses me off.

Re: bandwagon
i will agree with that, they look forward to getting out of school more than anything. You also have to realize that almost all the home games AHA is winning by atleast 9 so it is not even fun to watch.

Re: chants
I have to agree about the bandwagon theory with a couple of exceptions:
1) AHA played all their games in the evening this year so no one got out of school.
2) Because their enrollment is so low there are many kids in many activities spread out in different areas.
3) The student body comes from all over the metro, going home after school then coming back gets hard to do.
4) The girls Hockey team, the Boys Hockey team, the Girls B'Ball team and Boys B'Ball team are all excelling this year.

As far as the chants, you people pick on anything they do. Let then have their fun. And the Lent sign is great, nobody elst could use it except the catholic schools.....
________________________________
2002 & 2005 STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

stars
if there was 50 times more people at the tourney than the regular season games, there must have been about 10 people at the arena.

sieve
are you kidding? the sieve chant will never get old i love it especially when the goalie is standing on his head and the other team scores on a play that he has no chance to stop i.e. alex kangas vs moorhead but its still funny
