If you are saying Breck is gonna by down, how can you not say TG is gonna be down? Blake will probably be the preseason favorite because they are not losing many seniors, but I could definitely see Breck having a good year next year, they still have some real good players. As long as they get their goaltending straightened out, they should be fine. TG is losing 11 seniors while Breck is losing only 10. And, TG doesn't have any "stars" coming back like Breck does. <p></p><i></i>

Totino never has stars. They just play like a team. There really is no superstar on Grace this year. Just all work together well and play good defense. So next year they will be pretty good bringing back half their team. <p></p><i></i>

I'm not saying they can't win because they don't have stars (although this year, I consider Malone and Schack to be stars). I am just saying that you can't say Breck has no chance and then come right back and say the section will be between tg and blake. <p></p><i></i>

I think STA will have a great season next year. The team will be real young, but it should have a lot of talent. With a sophmore in goalie, and both of this years 8th graders actually in high school. The team will have a strong leader in Jack Baer, who will be a captain next year.<br>LOOK OUT! <p></p><i></i>

As much as I would like to see the Prowlers go to state you are getting the cart before the horse. After 40 years and no state tourney trips if you have learned anything it should be humility. Next January 15 if you are 10-2 have beaten Warroad and other contenders then you can start dreaming not talking about a state tournament trip. Until then Warroad has owned and will continue to own your section. Good programs and section titles are not built on one class or a couple of "stars".Godd luck and keep your sticks on the ice. <p></p><i></i>

I did forget about SLP, they will have a good chance. But, I personally just don't think that TG will be that good at all next year unless they get some new players. It's fine if you think Breck is gonna suck, but at the same time, I think TG will suck at least as much if not more. <p></p><i></i>

Ya'll better watch out for dem ALexandria Cardinals next year in class A. THey're gonna be storming through section 4A, and right on through the state tournament. I would put my money on STA. they are going to have another very strong team. although voss is leaving i think arron crandel will do fine in net. he will be as good as voss maybe better. STA will have a very young but expirenced team. i am interested to see if anyone new comes in and joins the team. <p></p><i></i>

Here's the Totino-Grace breakdown for all of you skeptacists. 3 solid defensemen are coming back Shamp, Graffunder, and carman (also Craft) the full third line sura, allenson, and mcdonald (who all played great in the state tournament, and will most likely not be split up). A second line forward, 5 players who played fourth line in and out (which you could argue about how big of an affect they could have), Landsem played on the first power play, and Egan played on the penalty kill both all year. They will probably get a goalie for next year, but if not they have two solid tenders from the jv team who would have played most anywhere else or atleast have been the back up varsity tenders. <p></p><i></i>

I say you should watch out for Sauk Rapids next year. If they can get one more player to bolster their defense. That would be great. They have a lot of Senior offensive talent, but a quite bad D core. <p></p><i></i>

I think you guys can expect Shakopee doing very good in the tourney next year. They know that they can get to the tourney once, they can do it again. And next year they'll still have the great line of seniors (the junior line this year) Rein, Huth, Simon. <p></p><i></i>

Little Falls has the Diaper line coming back next year and for years to come a Freshman,Sophmore,Freshman and only losing a few seniors look for them to make noise next year. <p></p><i></i>

Warroad will have some returning players [Marvin} I don't think they will be too bad in the nets. The biggest question will be if 4 or 5 of this years bantams will step up like this years seniors did as first year players. TRF should do it on paper. I think they only lose one player that was any good for next year. The big question is can they win with any team. Warroad will do just fine next year. Oh, You never know who might transfer in????????? for a quality education. <p></p><i></i>

Eveleth will be taking the class A next year they have a great returning team it is unbelievable team next yr and the yr to follow they will be a very hard team to beat. They have so many numbers coming back next yr. They will only be losing a few players 2 of which played for themselves, they killed the team. <p></p><i></i>
