One Moorhead Team that has had some success is Tobolt Seed. They have won countless men's league championships. Any Spud seniors looking for a place to play next year have a roster spot. Hey Fives, Progrum, Pocketkk's, brickwall, icedreamer...what say you?

I hear this team won 5 league championships. It would be great to keep the tradition going. I even hear Jason Blake had a tryout this year. Only made it for 2 games and they let him go. Must be a tough roster spot to get.

It's true. Blake did play with TS for a couple of games. If the NHL doesn't resolve the lockout he may be back for the whole TS season next year. Cullen, too. That brings up something interesting...are there any good regional senior hockey leagues anymore? I remember a lot of stories about old Don Haberlach and the FM somethin' or anothers. I think Slapshooter used to play in the senior leagues. Anyone know anything about that?

I hear that...maybe we should create a team comprised of all players from the Spuds runner-up fraternity and avenge those 6 defeats by entering the Canadian Senior Circuit and winning the Allen Cup! Spuds will win one soon...'06 or '07!

Yeah Lumpy21, The F/M Blazers I think! I played against them and the Grand Forks Wheat Kings and teams like that! Teams came down from Canada and went back limpin' too! Love to see a league like that start up again! I'd love to help out if anyone wants to get it going! Wonder what it would cost to insure such a league?
