Sorry to offend you there mnhockfan23, but there are a lot of former Minnesota players in this league. Figured there might be a few high school fans out there that may want to get out and watch some more hockey. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/nerd.gif ALT="8o">

Tickets are $45 for all five games or $12 per game.
BSU BEAVERS

Visit "The BeaverPond", the unofficial home of Bemidji State Hockey

I am rooting for the underdog who protects are nation, go Air Force Academy Falcons. Plenty of Minnesotan's on that roster to root for.

Murray

Post by elliott70 » Tue Mar 08, 2005 8:11 pm

BSU losing Murray to an injury has to hurt their chances.
Does Serratore have a ringer to throw in the line up to replace the future NHLer?

Murray

Post by BSU Beavers » Tue Mar 08, 2005 8:55 pm

BSU played with out Murray against North Dakota this year and left the Ralph with a 3-3 tie and a 3-1 (empty netter) loss. They have depth at forward and Ryan Miller from Fergus is back. He was out of the UND series also. There are quite a few options for Serratore to throw into the first line, it is just a matter of which one he choses. Holman, Miller, Bluhm would all fit nicely. It will be interesting to see.
BSU BEAVERS

Visit "The BeaverPond", the unofficial home of Bemidji State Hockey

The last two years

Post by BSU Beavers » Tue Mar 08, 2005 9:15 pm

The last two years elliot..... Two years ago, we weren't suppose to be there though, but knocked off UAH. Last year was a heart breaker.... Great games, but very draining as a fan. One can only yell and cheer so much.

Is it Friday yet. I am really looking forward to this weekend! The voice is primed and ready to go.
BSU BEAVERS

Visit "The BeaverPond", the unofficial home of Bemidji State Hockey

The tourney should be great. I hope The Air Force Academy Falcons can pull an upset or two. CHA Student-Athlete of the Year - •Andrew Murray, Bemidji State. Good for him, but they should always give this to an Air Force player, the academics their are near the top of the nation and superior to others in the CHA.

Tradition

Post by BSU Beavers » Sun Mar 13, 2005 12:21 pm

You are correct elliot, these two teams have a lot of history with each other going back to the D-II days of the 1990s. BSU won the titles in 93, 94, 95 and 97, UAH in 96 and 98.

These two teams HATE EACH OTHER. There will be a lot of hitting and some chipiness. If you are near Rapids, come on out to the game. Tickets for the game are on sale at the IRA Arena starting at noon today.

GO GREEN!!!
