Must agree with the comment on Schroeder. I don't think there is anyway he'll stay over at STA for 4 more years....

Schroeder

Post by MNPuckster27 » Thu Mar 17, 2005 11:25 am

Schroeder will have to hit puberty before he goes anywhere. I think we will be seeing him in HS until at least his junior year. Just my thoughts.... I have no evidence of it.

Schroeder

Just my opinion, but I see at the most only two more years out of Schroeder.

good list

Post by Hockeyisthebest21 » Thu Mar 17, 2005 2:37 pm

IceBurg, thanks for the list looks pretty solid. Hillfan, that is funny that you mention Shroeder leaving but you do not say anything about your best player, who is actually on this list, Mike Hoeffel (Minnesota).

Hockeyisthebest,

That is because I know he won't leave. Just because he's on the list of players they want doesn't mean he's going.

I remember once someone joking with him saying how they'll miss him when he's in Ann Arbor. His response was something like: No, there's no way that'll ever happen.

Believe me, he wouldn't be able to handle it. He enjoys attending H-M and he wouldn't be able to leave the friends of his.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... Hillfan at: 3/17/05 4:30 pm

Schroeder will be at Hill or AHA if he goes anywhere. Is not an Ann Arbor candidate

He's got great potential and is already a solid player but he's small and it could be just that he's in 8th grade but I could be wrong but I think Ann Arbor wants good players 6'0 6'2.....

Just a thought

All the players on the list are '89 birthdates. Schroeder is a '90 (I believe), he would not be invited to try out until the spring of 2006 although the occasional player has been invited a year ahead. Peter Mueller and Jim O'Brien are two examples of this.

MNHockey hit it on the nose. Ann Arbor will not like his size. Not saying size is that important, but in Ann Arbor it is critical.

<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> are you joking? How about gerbe? kid is 5-5", size is far from the concerns of Ann Arbor. It's all about what you can put out at that level, not only is size not a factor, but the kid hasn't even gone through puberty yet.

here's the info I have. 7 from MN. have been invited for tryouts (NTDP).one I here is not going accept(Nico Sachetti),another I don't know this years inclination, but last year he needed to stay with his buds and beat Greenway(Patrick White)"thats the best". the other two I have heard they may accept,or at least report for the try out,are (Cade Fairchild) and (Reid Ellingson).I would like to hear who the others are ,so let us in on it, if you are in the know...
