Some of the talk on this thread surprises me. A 4-0 win for DM? White will be hard to contain. He might just put a couple in the back of the net. And Jensen is no cupcake. Hafferty is back for DM and had an assist last night. After the LOW game; word was 3 weeks on Mausolf.

5-3 Marshall w/ and empty net goal, refs were calling everything. Lots of penalties. Overall it was a good game.

Don't fret T-chick faithful, youz guyz still have the #3 seed in 7AA all wrapped-up [-o< Marshall's a good team, no shame losin' to them, it ain't like playin' Fergus Falls [-(

Da T-chicks should get a sure win 1st round game against either Brainerd or Cambridge , but only if Runnin' Bare  wears his speedo

Yes you are right, GR is locked at 3 and I don't think anyone that knows the game well would be in bad spirits after losing to a powerhouse like Marshall. If DM was in 7AA they would probably win it.

one way to know for sure, opt up to AA, and no crap about they are in it
for academics only, Guzzo and Mausolf and all the others in the
past haven't transfered to Marshall for academics....the transfer
rule is going to hurt this program, heck the loss of Connolly and
Gutsch will hurt this program. Good for them beating Rapids, however
I don't think Patrick and company took them seriously enough, can't look
ahead, period.

why would Grand Rapids not take a team like Duluth Marshall seriously, is it because they're not a AA team or what? If this is the case they better take some other teams such as DE or Cloquet seriously then!

They took CEC seriously, beat em 2-0. Perhaps it's getting so close to playoffs now, they are saving themselves a bit for that. Also, it was like DM killed em, it wasn't a 2 goal game with an empty netter, could go the other way if they played again.

I agree could have gone either way. Both are good teams.

Earlier about the comment if they were in 7AA they would probably win it. I doubt that..
