Warroad gets the luck of the draw and puts the opponent in running time. Their next game won't be so easy.

Agree, this one wont be close. Semi's should be a different story!

Brutal - Further evidence that if you are going to seed teams, seed 1-8 not 1-4. The Warriors draw a creampuff again and will waltz into the semis.

Cream Puff??

I know its hard to compare scores but Warroad did lose to Mound and LDC beat them twice....It will be a tough road to haul, but nothing is impossible....

I'm sure Warroad was on the bus the whole day the night they played Mound.
I'll be shocked if this game is close.

No offense to Litchfield but they are below .500 and Warroad always seems to draw teams like Albert Lea, Farmington, Orono, and now Litchfield. The number 1 and 2 seeds play the toughest opponents this year. I realize the 1vs8 and 2vs7 games won't be all that great but Warroad vs. Litchfield isn't either.

This one gets ugly.

Do they have running time at state?
Good run for Litch to get to state but the fairy tale ends here. Warroad big, maybe double digits.

The Black and Gold of the United States of 8A and AA will prevail.

Warroad by one, Warroad by two.
Both are fine, either will do.

Warroad by three, Warroad by four.
Pooring it on, could it be more?

It's nice to see you have pride...but, your argument really isn't too good. That was Warroad's third game of the season after a long bus ride, as stated earlier. Also, LDC lost to St Cloud Cathedral twice, 6-2 and 7-2. Warroad beat them 3-1. Expect a blowout here, i was probably a bit conservative in my guess earlier.

Warroad vs LDC

Post by bighorn41 »

It is true that Warroad lucked out and played Orono in the 2004 State Quarters. The score was Orono 2 Warroad 1 in OT. Those dirty rotten Warriors have lukced out again!
