Zach does NOT struggle in school. His grades are fine. Who ever you heard that from is giving you false information. This has been brought up before and was disproven...
Grades in school and test scores are two different things. Test scores were and issue.[/quote

Now you are just pulling strings...look at your first quote....its not true...let it go....he is not going to MSU for 1 or 2 years anyhow...

Sweet, a great player coming to an up and coming program. Good to see he is going to be a MAVERICK. MSU is going to be tough as nails next year....... and hopefully the years of Lehrke and Leivermann.......

It would be sweet to have Lehrke, Leivermann, and Litchfield on a line gino's all day for those fellas. Glad MSU is getting some good recruits now.

By the way Stitches that was a low blow on Litchfield. He is a great player, with some dirty dangles.

haha yeah gino's for the other team. The only player that stands a chance is Leivermann because of his size Litchfields terrible and Lerke has good offensive attributes but come on against the little sisters of the poor anybody can score on them.

Why hasn't there been any official word on this yet? Is Mankato still waiting for the ACT score before the Mankato Free Press makes an announcement?

Has the Mankato paper ever been fast about announcing their new verbal commitments? They usually seem behind the times down there.

It will definitely be interesting to follow his career. Hopefully he can make a splash not only for himself but for section 8a as well.

Well...it's over 5 years later(March-April 2008) since the two of you were critical of Zach Lehrke's academic grades. Yes ,time-testing and grades can prove different....Zach got an acceptable total score on his first ACT, but was asked to retake to try to improve one area that was lower than MSUMankato wanted. Zach was a solid B student all through H.S.(altho doing homework took him longer than some). He has been a 3.0 college student, and above, making the Dean's list on occasion(altho, again his schoolwork takes him more time than some) And the past college-year he made The WCHA All-Academic List...Other than that, Zach being the high standard guy he is, just took your comments all in stride...... enough said......
