I'd say he's a realist. I'm thinking 8-0 Pioneers especially after all the players B'ville lost.

I'm giving BV the benefit of a doubt in this one. I'll go with BV 3 to Hills 2. BV gained a little experience in the Jefferson game and they will be pumped up to play this one. Even with all the players missing I think they will pull off the upset!!

I don't see the blaze pulling out the upset in this one at all. Really tough beginning of the year for the Blaze but i guess this will help them later on in the season but for now im saying:

Hill 5
B'ville 1

Koho, I thought you were going to get 2 yourself.

I think B'ville will keep it close and you never know. They need to test there goalie and D early. If they can get on top they have a chance, but Hills forwards can run and gun with the best of them. 5 - 3 B'ville with a open netter.

I think that this game will be close early but hill has to much fire power and will pull away in the 3rd. 7-3 hill, Kohls gets a trick

I'll take Hill 4-1. Although I'm rooting for Burnsville. GO PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

I'd also like Burnsville to take this one, but see Hill running away with it. I won't be able to watch it on FSN, but I'll try to TiVo it. Gonna be at the Moorhead-South game instead. :D

Excited yet again for another great year of the best hockey around, MN High School hockey. I'm even more excited that I can see the Pioneers open up on FSN since I'm at school and not in the cities to see it...

All I've heard is that Burnsville lost some of their top players from last year's squad. Hill may have done the same, but I have to say the depth they return is certainly solid. The top line (assuming Kohls/Zepeda/Widing?) should put some points on the board with their speed. Four of the six defensemen return bringing back experience. I'm curious to see who the netminder will be for opening night for Coach Lechner's squad...

Good luck Pioneers in defending your state title!

I'm going to feel bad for Gorg in the second period when this one goes to running time.

7-1 Pioneers.

I believe a once great poster of this board told you last year to remember the name - Ryan Holler - as a player to watch for in the future.

Nice debut Mr Holler..............way to get your "Boogie On".

Good Luck the rest of the way.
