Hawks

Running time game for the Hawks. Esse just does not have any horses in the stable this season. Couple years away.

Shots were 52-28 in favor of Hermantown. Doesn't sound like they looked past anyone, but you did.

John Scheuer was huge in net for the Jacks.. He got some defense help clearing pucks unlike a couple other games where he stopped every first shot. They also let him actually SEE the puck, where he's been screened pretty bad in some games and never saw pucks that ended up in the net.

The entire CEC boys hockey program needed this win, they played their (previously) best (my own opinion) game as a team against Andover and lost that game with 19 seconds left in the third period... and throw out the A vs AA garbage too.. other than the Esko-Carlton part of the Lumberjacks, the 9-12 enrollment is exactly the same.. according to the MSHSL website. I've heard it around before, but my own opinion is that Hermantown should be a AA team anyway.

Hopefully CEC can beat Anoka on Saturday, a team they SHOULD beat, given the Tornadoes season, before taking on East Tuesday.
