The Jackets who were playing very well for a stretch of about 5 games hit a huge bump in the road as they looked awful in the 2nd and 3rd against falls, and awful for the entire rapids game. Last night they beat up on a very bad Eveleth team. I think if Hibbing can win this game they could end up with the #3 seed which would mean not playing Virginia in the Semi's and that would be huge. Virginia has very good defensemen and Myhre has been outstanding.
Keys for Hibbing:
1. Defense,Defense,Defense
2. Goaltending
3. Go into the game expecting to win, not hoping to win

Hibbing moved Peratelo back to defense and adam johnson to forward. Adam looked very good against eleveth but it is eleveth. Moving Peratelo back to defense means Hibbing will have some muscle on the blue line.

I predict Hibbing wins in a very physical game.

Hendrickson will go scoreless!

I agree this game with be very physical but I think the bluedevils will win 5-3, with plenty of penalities and some fights.

Should be after the 16th, as far as I know there is only two games left for section 7a and they are both on tuesday the 16, virginia vs hibbing, and eveleth/gilbert vs greenway.

As of now this is how I think they stand

1. Virginia
2. Falls
3. Hibbing
3. Marshall
5. Central
6. Greenway
7. Eveleth
8. Ely
9. Silver Bay
10. Two Harbors

I still don't know who to put at 3 so I left that a tie for now. Depending how Hibbing playes against Virginia will be a huge indicator on what seed they get. A win and I have them at #3. Some people think no matter what Hibbing is 3 but i'd have a hard time putting them there if Virginia manhandles them a second time.

There is no doubt about that, i dont think virginia can lose that #1 seed, but it is key for hibbing to get that #3 seed for play offs.

This is going to be a close game i am hoping, if hibbing comes to play, it should be a very good game.

No it will be a win for Hibbing. Despite all the other sports events going on Tuesday, this game will draw alot of fans. Hibbing has shown to always play better in Hibbing. They win if they play the whole game.

This game definitely means alot to the jackets. The place is gonna be packed and the game is gonna be rough. It will be a close game if hibbing plays well and doesnt let in a goal early in the game.

If Hibbing shows up to play hockey it will be close. Still Virginia by 2.
If they show up to be physical Virginia by 4.
Refs will dictate.
Either way this will be a great game!

Yes, I still still say Virginia takes it, with a 2 goal win.

On paper Devils win this contest . Hibbing will throw the paperwork out and give the Devils a game. Devils win? Jackets win? Its the team who wants it will come out on top.

This is a home game for Hibbing. They are good at home. It won't be that score

Anything could happen tonight. Virginia has a better record but hibbing has the home crowd. It also depends on who hibbing has in the net and how they play.
