#2 White Bear Lake Vs. #3 Stillwater
The Bears beat them twice during the regular season. Is the third time going to be a charm for the Ponies?

Hmmm, I don't think they were outplayed either game.gophs16 wrote:Stillwater outplayed em both times, and they will again except this time they will bring home the W
WHEN IT COUNTS!!!
Stillwater-4
Bears-2
5 on 5 was even, along with shots.
WBL has had issues finishing games so Stillwater maybe out played them in the last 10 minutes, where they score a majority of their goals.
Always celly hard.

short memory? 1st game of the year Stillwater was up 3-1. 2nd game was were Stillwater came back in the 3rd. All that doesn't really matter in this one. Both games were Good games and so will this one.

Both teams are 6-2 in its last 8 games.
Stillwater has given up just 15 goals during that stretch. One game versus Forest Lake, was 5 alone.
WBL, during this streak, has given up 29, including 4 games with 5 goals allowed.
The only concern for the Ponies, is that the 1-0 victory over East Ridge should send some alarms out there about getting the offense going.

Judging from your name, I would think you'd be more in tune with the late season goalie situation for the Ponies. They had their sophomore goalie in the net vs FL, as they were trying to find their sections goalie. While he is a great up & coming goalie, the nerves undoubtedly got the better of him that night. He was not helped by a lackluster performance by the rest of his team either.old goalie85 wrote:W.B.L. 5 Ponies 2 [watched both teams play F.L. not impressed with Stillwater]
SW is riding Defiel (40 saves vs NSP) all the way to state! SW over WBL by a score of 4-3.
