I agree with you blueblood...... although I just have a gut feeling Max will be injury prone.
I like Bjugstad #1 and because of a parent who I respect an awful lot, has told me that Nelson was the most impressive player in the Elite I league. Nelson #2.
There's something to be said about the pressures of media attention in the Cities/Gophers. Will these youngsters being able to live up to their billings/expectations?
Because of that, I think Nelson will thrive in Dakota.
UND is a great program to grow your talent under Hakstol and co. Nelson will do well there.
The NHL also has a thing going for brothers and families (Stahl's, Statsny's, Sutter's, Suter's; just to name a few). That's another indirect reason to like Gardiner and Bjugstad...

If that is the first line for the Gophers there is trouble for years to come. THE DON should have gotten the other two big edina boys from last year. Everson Lee Budish would've had a lot of size and talent in the WCHA. look at budish's already impressive freshman season.
Bjugstad has a tremendous amount of atheletic ability as well as class. He comes from a great family. I can see him playing as an NHL star in 2-3 years, just like Wheeler or Kessel.

That would be nice. Make the Gophers have a strong second line too with Cepis, Schroeder, Birkholz/Hoeffel
Where is Zane Gothberg on this list? Shut down goalie that will absolutely be a gopher killer (and I am a gopher fan)... Watching him play a couple years ago against Warroad in finals, making 56 stops on 58 shots in 2OT loss was so impressive...
