Empty net goal seals the win for Roseau, 7-5. Pretty nice comeback for the Rams there. Hoping they face East tomorrow for the consolation prize.

 What a collapse!!!! OR, what a great comeback!!

Did Harper not play in nets for Blaine, or did he get pulled, because that's a shock he would give up 6 goals...???

In all seriousness, the fact that Blaine beat H-M in the Schwan's Cup while a few H-M players were battling flu-like illness kept H-M from being the #3 seed.

Not a good showing for Mr Hockey. An embarassing tournament for Blaine.

If he comes in and plays like aaron ness I hope he realizes how stupid of a move going early from high school to college is. Play juniors, not everyone is 5'8'' in college and can be walked around.

Way to go Roseau, nice to see Omdahl played he had two assists. East is up 1-0 if the MSHSL website is correct.

I don't care who played net, you blow a 5 - 1 lead you have other issues like motivation. put that loss on the team not the goalie.

Blaine just flat ran out of gas, they tried everything to win yesterday and had no legs once Roseau found theirs. Blaine looks a lot like an A team as they really have one line and once they fall off trouble happens quick against deeper teams.

2-0 East by the way. Janetta looks a lot better today.

Unfortunately, without being at the game, and not seeing the quality of goals scored, goaltending gets picked on first.. I know.. My son's a goalie...

Nice comeback win for the Rams! It's games like this where I wish they would broadcast the AA Consolation round like they used to! There can be some very good games.

Now 3-1 East early in the 2nd.

Make that 4-1. Phil Johnson with the tally.

Duluth East is winning 4 to 1 with 10 minutes left in the 2nd period.

Blaine was totally outplayed by Rsoeau the 3rd period. The 6 goals Roseau scored in the 3rd period were very nice well set up goals - can't put it all on the goalie

East goes on the power play with under seven minutes left in the 2nd. SOG are 30-11 in favor of the Hounds. Still 4-1.

When it was 3-1 Janetta came up with some really big saves on a North power play to keep it 3-1, East got a kind of a softie soon after the PP expired and it's been all East since.
