My favorite HS hockey vid, the opening of the 2009 Tournament (highlights from the 08 tourney)

and of course who can resist a kid getting flipped:

That's Michigan hockey? wow seemed really slow to me.
It was Wisconsin. Agreed that the play was slow. Middleton (who scored the goal) is not too bad, ranked #4 in Wisconsin, but their opponents (Madison Memorial) are #78 of only 92 teams in Wisconsin.

FWIW, those ranks would translate to #48 and #141 in Minnesota.
Middleton (the red team) is legitimately pretty decent. Played in the WI state championship game this year, lost to #2 ranked Wausau West. The kid who scored the goal (Koritzinsky) is a very good player, plays for Team Wisconsin in the Elite League. The team they played, Madison Memorial is not very good at all. Interstingly they used to be a state powerhouse (11 state titles), about the only team who could compete with Superior for a very long time, but similar to Minneapolis the "City" schools just can't keep up with hockey as all of it seems to be moving to the suburbs. As for "slow play" MM is not the fastest team around and basically "let that play happen, however FWIW I've noticed that all hockey games look way way slower on "home video" than they do live.

Check out some nice offseason post-championship footage from Stauber's. Andrew Ford beats Kyle Rau in breakaway contest:
