Hibbing and Rapids

Post by house69 » Sat Feb 05, 2011 5:02 pm

Hibbing comes off a nice win over the broncos, but can they take down the thunderhawks at home? Predictions?

if its the same team that showed up in rapids i think we know who is going to win.... unless they play better in hibbing , with the fact they would have the home rink and more fans... but rapids often shows up with a section and a half full of fans.

I don't think Rapids will have much trouble with Hibbing, they're much bigger and faster than Hibbing is. I think Rapids will win and solidify 1st in the IRC (not that there was much question).

hibbing probably has the smallest team and size wise, they have 4 seniors and 2 are goalies. i have yet to see an apponent this year with smaller size than hibbing. but they havent let it affect them

Watched Rapids pull off a nice O/T win over Moorhead last nite, after being down 3-1. Very nice looking hockey team - would like to see them in St Paul next month.

Hibbing can pull it off and they seem to have closer games against Rapids when they are on home ice. Go Bluejackets!

rapids 5-1 final. hibbing got on the board in the third when it was 0-3 then a dissallowed goal rite after that. both teams with some pretty power plays that were fun to watch.

I guess I gave Hibbing a little too much credit and should have stayed with 5-1 Rapids. My bad!

I guess I gave Falls a little to much credit last week with my 3-1 Hibbing, should have stayed with my original thought of 7-0!
