Housley goes from SSP to Buffalo after hs and is not the player of his decade? He is easly the best hs player of all time and best Mn player of all time.

Id add Ben Hanowski to the 2000s. He set the all time points record after all which is something very special.

I nominate Gordon Bombay.

Did you see his triple deke and the points he racked up for the Hawks?

Nope. That second place finish in peewees crushed him for the rest of his life... until the Ducks came along and it gave him new life. He eventually got his shot in the minors.

Probably the best hockey player ever since he could forego all other development levels.

Gave up hockey to become a lawyer till the Ducks came along and helped me find my love for hockey all over again.

Definitely have to put Nick Leddy up there. Mr. Hockey leads a team of sophomores to a state title and ends up on a D pairing with Duncan Keith in the pros two years later.
