Local boy scores the National Championship winner for Minnesota-DuLuth.
Not a better script in this one.

They should have the frozen four in the Xcell more often...good things seem to happen...

Instead, where do they go next year? Tampa Bay!

Congrats to UMD! :D =D>

Max Tardy picked a good time to score his first career collegiate goal.

I believe he would have scored No. 2 but he was hooked just as he was getting ready to shoot at some open net. Out of all Michigan's penalties this was probably the best one for them to take.

UMD vs. Michigan

Post by blueblood »

UMD was the better team. Michigan plays a boring brand of hockey. Was it effective this season, yes, except fot last night.

The Michigan players whined every time they went to the box. Red whined after the game about the penalties. They guy who pulled down JT Brown in the third was in the ref's face the whole way to the box.

HockeyMN1, why don't you change your name to HockeyMI1? You don't deserve the title HockeyMN1 with your love of Michigan.

This is college hockey so I don't feel the need to maintain a level of classiness. The refs sucked.
