Okay, thanks for the info. Minnesota Hockey Hub has him down for 17 games but I will take your word for it.

Hope he recovers 100%.

Tom Novak scored the game-winning goal for St. Thomas Academy as they beat Breck 3-2 in overtime. Novak has been flying under my radar, so to speak, but I am now on to him. In 16 games, he has 8 goals and 9 assists.

Gavin Payne got 2 goals and an assist in Orono's 8-3 win over Hutchinson. Matthew Cowger had 1 goal and 1 assist for Hutch.

Yes he is ! He also has a niece that's a real good player in the Chaska/Chan area !!
Hey! That's pretty cool. Thanks for confirming that, everyone.

I recall Jeff speaking on the KQ Morning Show of his nephews that play, but I couldn't recall if they were in HS yet.

Notably, freshman Alex Kremer has been leading a weak Worthington squad in goal-scoring and recorded a hat-trick in an 8-6 loss to Windom Area. He now has 13 goals from 17 games. Worthington only suits up 14 players, including 2 goalkeepers, and has a 3-16-1 record. Anyone want to argue about them having a weak schedule? Go Worthington!

You're obviously referring to Jeff, not Josh. My post was a not-so-subtle nod to Josh's uncle's connections to SCSU. I'm fully aware that Jeff Passolt is not only a record holding former Husky, but still an active supporter of the program.

Still though, I always start with the assumption that most metro kids grow up Gopher fans, even nephews or cousins of Huskies.

If you havent had a chance to watch Tom Novak you should. As a freshman he has worked his way up to the top line! Last freshman to play there way into the top line as a freshman was defenseman Eric Schurhamer... Mr hockey finalist.
