Interesting they move Jake Bischoff up to center between Peterson and Mondry, going with 4 defensemen. Korbitz, Mann, and Frazier on the second line. Rapids still has solid goaltending and the 4 defensemen are good, led by Stejskal, the second line had 3 of the 4 goals on hockey day, so it's not like it's time to panic yet. Gotta take care of business tonight, then see where they stack up against the Spuds on Saturday.

Grand Rapids qualifies as a single A team that chooses to opt up last time I looked. Much like a few of the other Northern schools.Usthockey13 wrote:Oh yea mule Rapids beat up on another mediocre single A team...mulesrbest wrote:Rapids will be ready come sections! Watch out East!

That is true but East is also single A enrollment that plays AA and doesnt schedule any A teams but Denfeld ( forced to by school Dist).. And you cant say St Thomas Acd counts becuase that was in the Schwans and they are a AA teamMTStringer wrote:Grand Rapids qualifies as a single A team that chooses to opt up last time I looked. Well played Gitter but in pervious years they were under the enrollment #'s and still played one of if not the toughest schedules in the state year in and year out.. Also with it looking like Andover the #2 and GR the #3 seed (barring a upset) GR could have a tough time in the Semis with the way Andovers goalie is playinggitter wrote:Duluth East is AA enrollment since the closure of Duluth Central.Usthockey13 wrote:That is true but East is also single A enrollment that plays AA and doesnt schedule any A teams but Denfeld ( forced to by school Dist)..
